Amy’s parent coaching has provided a valuable adjunct to the academic coaching she has provided my 6th grade son. Parent coaching has provided me with the opportunity to gain direct understanding of the strategies she is using with my son and how I can support those strategies ensuring consistency. Beyond Amy’s abundant expertise is her warm, welcoming and supportive approach, evident throughout her coaching with both my son and myself. – Parent, Vero Beach, FL

Amy taught both of my boys in middle school and was definitely a favorite of mine. She always kept me abreast of their successes and also when “the wheels were falling off.” Having a son with a learning difference, Amy was always patient and took extra time if needed. My only regret was they couldn’t take Amy to high school with them!

Amy is an exceptional teacher who cares deeply about all children who have been fortunate enough to cross paths with her. She knows what it takes to support learners and coach them to be their best! As a former colleague, I can’t say enough about the potential for her to help transform your child’s life.

I took middle school science with Mrs. Stephen for three years. She greatly prepared me for success in high school science and high school in general. She taught me organizational skills that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. Mrs. Stephen's approachable and kind attitude translates into her enthusiasm for student success. Mrs. Stephen fostered learning in a variety of ways catering to individual student needs. With her study skills and organizational tactics, I was able to excel in high school and be ready for college.

Mrs. Stephen always made sure that her students had schedules for upcoming assignments and projects. She helped me stay organized in school while also encouraging me to do my best and work hard.
- Former student, University of Alabama grad
For the 3 years my child studied middle school science with Mrs. Stephen, I was continually amazed by her thought-provoking lessons and her systems for note-taking, journal keeping, and test preparation. Amy's enthusiasm for student success is apparent. As I now watch my child navigate college, I have a renewed appreciation for the study skills that germinated in Amy's classroom.

Mrs. Stephen helped me organize my binder back in 6th grade, which was really important for improving my study skills. I still use her system today as a Junior in high school.

Any child who would have the pleasure of being guided by Amy will flourish. She is very patient. She listens and understands each child and has a way of knowing what each of them needs. This is a true gift!
…The way you embrace the kids and guide them through their big projects was very helpful and made it not overwhelming.
As a parent of a child who had the pleasure of being taught by this amazing person, I just can’t say enough. You won’t be disappointed - you will be inspired.
